Division of IT Organization
The following is the structure and organization for the Division of
Information Technology:
Office of Information Technology
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is directed by Dr. William
F. Hogue, Vice President for Information Technology and Chief
Information Officer. OIT supports teaching, research and service
missions of the University. The Chief Operating Officer reports
directly to the Office of Information Technology. The Office of
Information Technology also oversees the Center for Teaching
Excellence.
University Technology
Services
Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer, University
Technology Services (UTS) provides network and computer services
along with campus-wide IT planning and collaboration. In addition,
UTS is responsible for providing the necessary technological, course
design, and student support for the University’s academic
departments and colleges to deliver courses and programs
successfully to students at a distance. UTS also provide logistical
support for instructional and general purpose media applications at
the University.
